Comparison table of the 8 best value betting software (updated: 21.01.2026)

A paid software scans sportsbook odds and displays every overpriced opportunity to bettors without delaying or applying profit limitations.

A premium tool for these reasons can show more betting opportunities with higher accuracy.

RebelBetting is the best pre-match value betting software for European bettors. It offers a free trial version with the condition of not delaying bets and a 3.5% profit limitation.

Odds dropping based value betting tool: Pinnacle Odds Dropper

Pinnacle Odds Dropper is a newcomer service in the smart betting industry. Their tool service runs with a different approach compared to the other software mentioned in this article.

Their algorithm spots sudden odds movements at Pinnacle (a sharp betting site) and alerts users when these appear.

Pinnacle odds dropping based service user interface with active signals

The main difference between Pinnacle Odds Dropper and other value bet finders is the number of bookies scanned.

They scan and focus only on Pinnacle. The alerts they display are not tied to any soft/slow bookie.

For this reason, bettors can use this type of value betting software at any local betting site.

    Pros of POD

    • Can be used at any betting site, even at ones not available at other competitors
    • You can build as many alerts/filters as you want
    • The filtering system is highly customizable, and you can exclude many fake notifications

    Cons of POD

    • Using it will require significantly more work than a “regular” value bet finder
    • You can’t exclude every fake value bet, so you need to verify odds at Pinnacle
    • It offers value bets only for pre-match

    Pricing:

The silver plan at POD costs only $39 per month, and they also give you a money-back guarantee if you are not satisfied with the service

Global pre-match and in-play positive EV bet finder with fast scanner: BetBurger

BetBurger is the best multi-sport software for in-play events. It covers each relevant live sports event and has a very effective filtering system.

BetBurger is recommended by experienced, pro bettors who know what features are the most important for success.

It is a decent in-play tool because of its fast sportsbook scanning and wide range of market coverage.

Their algorithm scans odds and displays new value bets every 2.5-4 seconds, as you can see in my test from the BetBurger review.

BetBurger free value bet finder user interface screenshot showing signals for esports, basketball and other sports

    Pros of BetBurger

The value bets finder of BetBurger has the following types of filters: value bets’ percent (profitability), its age in minutes, odds ranges, bookmakers to compare your local bookie with, bookmakers for value display, sports, required sports, countries, and many more.

Cheap/Affordable value bet spotter tool for African bettors: Breaking Bet

Breaking Bet is one of the most affordable tools, both for pre-match and in-play sports events.

With this low subscription price, you should expect a lower number of value bets displayed compared to a premium service such as BetBurger.

The live EV bet finder of Breaking Bet displays new opportunities every 15-25 seconds.

    Pros of Breaking Bet

    • Most affordable in-play service
    • Focuses on many bookies available in Africa
    • Has a well-developed filtering system
    • They add new betting sites to their scanner on a monthly basis
    • Scanning speed and accuracy are under constant improvement

    Cons of Breaking Bet

    • Not so many bets are displayed as at premium services
    • Still needs some improvements in displaying correct odds

What are the main features of Breaking Bet?

breaking bet service list of bookmakers available and filtering options

BreakingBet focuses more on African bookies (but lately, in 2022-2023, they started to cover tens of bookies available worldwide).

What are the main filters at Breaking Bet?

Breaking Bet has a filtering system that can narrow down displayed value bets based on profitability, probability, odds range, event timing, markets, available bookmakers, sports, etc.

How many betting opportunities can you find with Breaking Bet?

When it comes to the number of value bets at Breaking Bet, you can see a major difference compared to other premium services such as BetBurger or RebelBetting.

Breaking Bet still does not have the fastest possible odds-scraping algorithm, which results in many fake/ghost value bets.

US & Canada focused +EV betting software: OddsJam

OddsJam has been offering a value bets finder since 2021, focusing mainly on the US and Canadian sportsbooks. Lately, it has started adding new bookies from Europe and other parts of the world.

I recommended the value bet spotter service of OddsJam only for pre-match because of the high prices for the in-play scanner.

oddsjam value betting software user interface screenshot with betting opportunities

    Pros of OddsJam

    • Best value bet finder in the US & Canada at the moment
    • Covers the most US bookies
    • Focuses on the major sports (7+)
    • Guides from A to Z, both written and in video format
    • Excellent modern, mobile-friendly user interface

    Cons of OddsJam

    • Some bettors might feel their prices too high (even though you can make over 3k USD/month with it)
    • You need to keep funds at the bookies you actively use, otherwise you will miss many value bets

What are the main features of OddsJam?

The best features of OddsJam are the filtering system in their value bet spotter and the wide range of bookies covered.

Additional helpful features at OddsJam are the expected value calculator for betting, the stake management system to optimize your profits, value bet finder, calculators, bet trackers, odds comparison services, player props, etc.

    • Scans and refreshes odds in every 3-4 seconds for in-play events

    Cons of Betwasp

    • Requires higher experience level to work and start with but offers more betting opportunities as well.

Which are the best free services to find value bets?

A free value bets finder is a limited version of a premium service that finds overpriced sports wagering markets.

The best services below are listed based on the usefulness of their free version, despite having some level of limitations:

    1. RebelBetting: They are offering a 2-week free trial for their services with a 3.5% profit limitation on displayed opportunities. No delays are applied.
    2. BetBurger: They are offering free value bet services for a profit of up to 2% on each opportunity. A delay of 15 minutes is applied.
    3. OddsJam is focusing on the US & Canadian value market with a large knowledge base and a 7-day free trial. They apply no profit limitations or delay.
    4. BetWasp is focusing entirely on the US and Canadian bookmakers. It is the fastest value bet finder for these when using a paid plan. The free plan has no time limits, but the profitability is limited to 2%. A 15-minute delay is applied to each value bet.

How to choose between a paid and a free plan?

Below is a short list of the influencing factors for choosing a paid value betting software over a free service:

    1. Scanning speed

The refresh rate/scanning speed of each software is different. Some services offer the same speed for their free version as for the paid subscription.

In these cases, the length of the free trial is what limits your possibilities.

Other services, such as BetBurger, have a free version for an unlimited time.

They are focusing on giving access to odds, but with a significant delay in displaying new betting opportunities.

    2. Profit margin on value bets

At the moment, 90% of services have some type of limitation on their free version.

Otherwise, many people would try to exploit the free trials.

One of the most common ones is limiting the maximum profitability of each value bet.

BetBurger is offering value bets with a slight delay (60s) but up to a maximum profit of 2%.

The profit margin and the feed delay have the largest impact on your long-term profitability.

    3. Limited number of bookies

This type of free trial is not as common as the above-mentioned differences between a free and paid service.

On the other hand, it might be a crucial point in choosing software over another if you are focusing on bookies that are not available in their free trial.

    4. Accuracy

I used all of these scanners, and the one sure thing I can say is that all of them are making mistakes.

Unfortunately, in most cases, this is not their fault.

The bookies can make changes, and the algorithms can malfunction sometimes.

Scanning a bookie with that speed in play is not an easy task. That’s why most of their customers are recurring subscribers.

    How were these services tested?

Back in 2013, when I started using odds comparison services and value betting software. I used BetBurger, Rebelbetting, Surebet.com, ArbMate, and BetOnValue for many years.

The value betting software mentioned in this article was tested based on the following criteria:

    • Testing scanning speed with the software and the sports event open side by side
    • Comparing the scanning speed of each individual software with the other
    • Analyzing the list of betting sites scanned and their focus country
    • Comparing the user/mobile friendliness of each value bets finder
    • Checking the accuracy of each service based on a sample of at least 30 bets
    • Comparing the number of value bets displayed for the same event
    • Checking the value/price ratio a user gets when subscribing
    • Testing the filtering options to exclude each insignificant betting opportunity
    • Keeping in contact with the developers/owners of each value bet finder to be up to date about each update
